The Challenge
Most SEO case studies show gradual progress over months. We ran a controlled experiment on our own domain to answer a specific question: how quickly can structured, burst-based off-page activity move the needle on keyword rankings?
Our Solution
A two-phase approach: Phase 1 mapped target keywords across blog content with interlinking, profiles, and link exchanges. Phase 2 ran a focused 12-day burst targeting UK gains and expansion into new terms. Deliberate rest periods were built in to isolate the effect of the activity.
The Results
44 new UK keywords entered the top 60 within 12 days of Phase 2 activity, including 35 SEO-specific terms. 53 additional US keywords ranked as organic spillover - a market that received no direct activity.
